Pippin

My last large scale production at North Lincoln High School was Pippin. The amount of growth that I saw in the technical Theatre program in my senior year was tremendous. We went from Beauty and the Beast, which was a fully conventional rig, to Pippin which had over 40 LED fixtures, 2 High End SolaFrame 750s, and 4 Martin Mac Vipers. With this increase in technology, I was also able to see an increase in my skill as not only a designer, but as a programmer and electrician. This was also my first production with a fully trained Tech Team, all selected and trained by me. Directly under me there was 1 Assistant Technical director, 2 board operators, 3 follow spot operators, 3 backstage electricians and 2 sound technicians. My responsibility during the actual show was calling cues and coordinating between different sections of tech to ensure the show went smoothly.
